Well its out and it’s absolutely amazing. This is the best RTS I have ever played. I didn't think this game was going to be visibly as good as Company Of Heroes but they did it. Its definatly the best C&C game I don’t think anyone could argue that. C&C has gone back to their roots of Red Alert 2. Immediately when you start playing it feels like RA2, which is great since lots of C&C fans say RA2 was the best, well now #3 is the best. Graphics are incredible, looks amazing. Sound is great, as previous games they hired actors for the cut scenes, there’s 1 actor that’s been in many movies cant find his name though, he was the cop in thinner the dude that turns reptilian, he’s been in the outer limits im pretty sure he’s been in previous C&C games, as well as Joe Kucan who plays Kane, also Josh Holloway (sawyer from lost) is in it but haven’t seen him yet. The live action cut scenes are excellent, some really trippy like a news report of Armageddon in the background, great visuals. Game play is excellent, feels exactly like RA2 with next gen graphics. If you previously played RA2 the learning curve will be minimal if not you get used to it fairly quickly. Storyline is excellent you travel all over the world, first few maps are in the USA, places like the pentagon, Langley air field and the white house, and then over to Africa in Act 2. There’s always action when playing, there’s usually a bunch of side missions to accomplish, There’s 2 campaigns the good guys the GDI and the followers of Kane the Nod. Im working on the GDI campaign and on act 2. I love this game, and I hope the come out with a bunch of expansion.

Worth buying! I dont say this about many games, I will purchase this game and I expect multiplayer to be amazing aswell. If your a fan of any type of RTS or a fan of RA2 you will absolutely love this game
Also runs great on my computer, amd 3000+ 1gb memory x800 pro 256

Yes Michael Ironside is awesome, I got the game today as well; the Kane edition (with like 500000 extras). I'll be playing it online tonight with some friends which will test if it possesses true RTS greatness.

Yeah this game is amazing, I've played through to Act II as well. Personally I don't like a lot of new RTS with all the hero crap so this is a great refresher for me. I plan to play this baby online but haven't gotten around to that side of it yet. Game runs amazingly smoothly on my computer (P4, 3.4 Ghz, 9800 Pro 256) and looks sexy as hell.

Also the chick from house is, as stated, pretty hot.

i disagree with you malice. i dont think it adds anything to the RTS genre and is overall lacking in originality. compare the impact this game will have to the impact company of heroes made and you will see what i mean. nevertheless, its a good game for what it is, and the graphics alone make it worth playing.

Company of Heroes AI's seemed more smart and technical, C&C's seems dumbed down and predictable

Is anyone else having all sorts of problems online with this game? I get sync errors all the time.

This game is the first rts I've liked as much as the original c&c/red alert, but they've really screwed the pooch so far with their online lobbies and such...torrible.

The patch notes have been out for weeks on commandandconquer.com. However, they didn't release any technical notes, and considering the problems with online play I still remain sceptical. Most of these online problems have existed since CNC: Generals and have persisted through all other EA RTS titles since then. I'm not sure if I see these sync errors being fixed soon, if ever.
