This was only in-part because I got tired of looking at my PS2's graphics, they have just gotten so dated (obviously from being 7 years old) that I just need something new to play. I like my Wii, so I will be selling it to my roommate (who I am living with again next year) for probably $225 or something, then zelda+extra controllers for $325 I'm guessing. I will put that money towards getting a 360 elite then will probably mod that with one of the new blaster360 from team xecutor.

I wouldn't mod your 360 unless you don't plan on playing on xbox live or playing some of the bigger upcoming releases. Microsoft could pretty much install a update at any time to brick your 360.

^That is why i am not modding my Wii. Super Paper Mario automatically installs an update when you try to play it and even though the update does not stop a modded console from working, any game in the future could.

I know people who already updated games time after time already with that one, SSX Blur and something else. Everything went ok. Don't be worried because of the 360 update thing that bricked consoles back then. That was totally unrelated to modchips because several people w/o chip had there system messed up. More of an update not going through correctly error than anything else.

is what I plan on getting. It isn't a modchip, it just makes it easier to update the firmware on your drive and to backup legally purchased games.
