I purchased Gears of War off ebay for 15$, but it didn't come with a manual/game box. Anyone have any experience finding empty boxes? Should I ask Gamestop? Rental places? Anyone have any idea where I can find em.
It's not a huge deal realy, I'd just like to have the original case for looks sake on my shelf.

pretty much the only way you're going to aquire a gears of war game box and manual is if you either:
a) steal it from somebody or from somewhere
b) purchase another copy of gears of war, this time with all of the shiz
i know retailers like gamestop will accept used games with or without the packaging, and in fact (im pretty sure) providing the packaging with do nothing in help you increase the trade-in or cash value of your used game.

Ask Blockbuster. My local one, is only slowly making the shift to using the real DVD cases for movies (a la Hollywood Video). I noticed that the video games tend to be generic boxes, but some of them have the instructions slipped into the plastic cover of them.
Just an idea...

you can buy empty dvd cases at most electronics or office supply stores.
you will probably find printable covers and manuals for games online too.

If this is against any "rules" delete it, but I see nothing wrong with getting cover copies

I just stopped by a local family owned video store and they happen to sell empty cases for 360 games. With the site smeg posted I now have a perfect copy of the case :D.
Just need to find a manual now
