So, I decided to venture out into the more avant-garde stuff and wow, this is amazing. The first Sigh album I've heard (and first avant-garde album) and I must say it is amazing. It has hints of bm through it and the orchestrated parts are beautiful. Any other good avant-garde?

Didn't enjoy this album too terribly much, not nearly as good as Imaginary Sonicscape, at least in my opinion. You should probably check out bands such as Arcturus, Stargazer, Solefald, Axis of Peridition, Portal, Al Cest, and Kayo Dot/Maudlin of of Well. Though most, if not all of these bands sound different, I guess they all sound weird, which is what you are going for, right?
