So when I'm work I can't really listen to all the music I would like to.

I rotate between Pandora (the majority of the time) to a few albums that I have found online, to artists myspace pages/ home pages.

I was wondering if anyone had any links to streamable albums or whatever.

Thanks.

Install VibeStreamer (http://www.vibestreamer.com/) on your computer at home and stream from that. Granted you have to have a pretty good upstream for it to work properly, but from my experience it's a pretty good setup.

Circa Survive has the whole On Letting Go album streaming on their myspace and it rocks.

my sister showed me projectplaylist.com and loaded my own mixes so that I could listen to it at work. Also listen to Dave Shelley and Chainsaw streamed from 101kgb.com in the morning. The site also streams classic artists albums on the main page, so I listened to Rush's new album one day and Ozzy's crap new album etc etc.

i've yet to find anything better than pandora so yeah. i'd say bringing your ipod would be in your favor, unless the point is to try and find new music and stream albums you haven't heard

If you're looking to set up a streaming mp3 server: http://larvalabs.com/streamsicle/index.html . Fucking best one there is. Basically it will just play songs randomly until you log in and set up a queue. You have access to any and all music files you specify when setting it up. Damn awesome.

It's roundabout, but if you listen to a lot of music on your home PC you can use last.fm (www.last.fm) to keep track of what you listen to, then at work use their streaming radio station. It will play stuff you listen to already.

Facebook has a small plugin app that interacts with last.fm in this way as well.
