got my tix today for DC small venue. yummy. best band of the "grunge era". they musically smash alice/nirvana/pearl jam, even tho i have a soft spot for them all. 'specially alice. RIP Lane.

Anyway, for those interested, theres a high-quality video of the MTV Germany broadcast of their Rock AM Ring show floating around. All the working links I had are down though :(. If theres enough interest I'll try and upload it to sendspace or megaupload or something. It weighs in at just over two hours and around 650mb.

It's a pretty fucking awesome show; every song is performed practically seamlessly. It's a decent blend of old/new stuff. Theres a 20 minute jam at the end with Uli Roth from the Scorpions as well which is simply amazing. Jimmy Chamberlin tore shit apart as always. I honestly don't understand how he isn't on more "BEST DRUMMERS EVAR" lists. I'm getting extremely pumped for their North American tour. They're playing these songs as good as they ever have live and the new songs are pretty good too.
