Your system is bottlenecking the card more than likely...that and if you dont want to get spikes like that turn vsync on...

Ok i did a virus scan and everything is clean, I tried to play TFC in Direct 3d and it works almost better..but still chops a lil SO maybe Radeon is a D3D card?

I had similar problems with my new 9500 pro 128mb card. I tried lots of things, and have gotten it to be much better. I also use windows ME. The biggest thing is turning off all programs that are running in the background, using control-alt-delete except explorer and systray. I also found that the longer my computer runs the worse it gets, so a reboot before a match is always a plus. With my system, 900 athlon, 512mb and the radeon 9500 pro 128mb its my computer that is creating the bottleneck not the video card. Also in the properties tab, moving hardware acceleration from from full to one notch down help also. Click here (http://www.thecatacombs.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=293) for the help I got here in the tech section. Ace also helped me a ton, you can find him in #clansol.
Good luck
