System specs :
Pentium 4 2.6
30 gigHD ( IBM )
512 megs of RDRAM ( crucial
ATI Radoen 9700 128meg ( newest drivers )
OS : windows ME ( newest service pack )
ASUS P533-T mobo ( updated BIOS )
-------

Odd problem ( and it seems Completly random )
this problem only seems to rear its ugly head while playing HL
Sometimes while playing the system will simply FREEZE, a loud beep ( similar to a FLATLINE medical sound ) will come from my speakers.

If i missed any required info ill be happy to provide it

Heh, why are you running that system on such a shitty OS?

Is there any sign of overheating? You might try installing Motherboard Monitor and check the logs when it does that. Also, do you have the most recent VIA 4n1 drivers for your motherboard?

Im just used to Me i guess :(

Overheating is NOT an issue, i have about 7 fans in the system, not counting the CPU and Video ones

I have checked the temp , its within normal limitations.
