[GoW] Odin's Graveyard TF2

I am pleased to announce that [GoW] Odin's Graveyard will be making the move to TF2 upon release. It is possible that there will be an FF version also of Odin's Graveyard, but no promises.

All bans enforced on TFC WILL NOT be carried to the new server. Rules will remain the same although I will be watching carefully what leagues do with rules for TF2.

Anyone interested in being an admin should be idling in #odinsgraveyard and letting me know about their interest (pm's I don't respond to I won't get, so make sure I acknowledge you). Until I figure out the whole administration situation (mapcycles or voting, kicking, banning, admin plugins etc etc) there will be a complete re-evaluation of current admins and future ones. Never hurts to be prepared by coming there now.

All other TF2 suggestions will be heard as it pertains to public server use. Possible tournaments (like the old friday night fights) are in the works too. Looking forward to TF2 with all of you! And a final note of thanks to those that support what I've tried to accomplish with Odin's. I hope we can accomplish providing a public TF2 league-style server in the future!

No Rules!!!! It's a new game and clearly it's going to be more DM oriented than TFC, not to mention there's not going to be any real CTF maps except maybe 2fort.

Aye, whatever we can get rid of, then we will :) But there are still non-gameplay rules that apply. I'm quite certain medic defense will be relinquished, OvO and so on.

Ironically it's the dumbass, can't take on a new game, momma's boys who will cry over skinned knees who will be playing FF. I'm looking forward to new blood in a game, instead of playing with the same old bitch and moan tfc community for another eight years.

I still don't get the whole "odins admins are nazis". There are a few pretty straightforward rules:

1. don't ovo or chase
2. make it a full game when it's 6v6
3. don't drop n bombs
4. don't spam spawns or camp them
5. don't play yard d with 2+ guys

the rules are in the motd every time you join the server, so you know what you're getting into. just because you don't agree with the rules doesn't mean you get to break them.
