Question about purchasing TF2

About two years ago I believe I purchased "The Orange Box" on Steam to get TF2 when it comes out. At the time it came with Half Life 2 and it was about 45 bucks.

In "My Games" I have the option to install HL2, Condition Zero, DOD:S because of this package I got a while back. But I never really had much of an interest in these games. However I don't see TF2 in "My Games".

Is my memory off and there was no such thing? I just don't see me paying 45 bucks for any of this HL2 shit if I wasn't getting TF2. Any ideas?

I was also looking at the Steam Games list today and saw something about people who prepurchased it already can play it. So how can I play it?

i think you're thinking about the HL2 silver package. i don't remember hearing about "The Orange Box" way back when

there wasn't any 'orange' box. It was bronze, silver, and gold.

Ya, I think that was it. I know I purchased something w/ TF2 in mind because I don't care about any other game --- HL2, DOD:S ect.

TF2 was not named on any of those packages, whatsoever.
