Alright, so to start out, I currently have two unused phones. Two of my friends are going abroad next semester (I'm in college), and gave me their phones. The deal was I'll sell them since they're busy, and I'll get a cut.

The two phones I have are:
Verizon LG Communicator (http://www.bcellphones.com/lg/verizon-shows-lg-vx9800-ev-do-communicator/)

T-Mobile Blackberry Curve
http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Detail.aspx?device=a2262565-32f0-4d50-bd1c-4fd62ce2db70

So here is what I'm trying to figure out for the LG Communicator:
I can't figure out where the fuck a SIM card would go... Do Verizon users even have SIM cards? Is it possible to resell and reuse this phone?

For the BB Curve:
There is a SIM card slot, but do all T-Mobile users have SIM cards?

Also, I'd love to use the BB Curve myself, but I have Cingular. Is unlocking illegal (aka can't ask here)?

I have a few friends who want to buy these, but if eBay would get a lot more money, I'd be in. Let me know what you guys think.

Verizon does NOT use SIM cards, and as far as I know, aren't the most unlockable-friendly phones. I'd just set that aside.

Yes, T-Mobile uses SIM cards and unlocking is NOT illegal. As a matter of fact, you can call T-Mobile customer service, tell them you're traveling abroad and will need to use your phone with another provider and they will supply you with an unlocking code. I have done this will all of my phones, as I currently use T-Mobile.

Any time I upgrade, I unlock my old phone and put it on eBay. Let me know if you need any other info.
