Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
Just something strange here, the log files from our match on Monday ended up at 622kb but the logger tool limits it to below 600kb. Is there anyway the limit could be raised or can the log file be edited to fit?

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
Just open it and delete 22kb from the beginning or end or both.

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
For suggestions, can you put in some highlighting of medic kills and uber usage as well? Those generally go with who wins pretty good but it would be nice to see how tightly intertwined they are.

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
I don't know what you are talking about wombat.. Medic uber and kills are shown on the main results page.
A new parser is in the works and the filesize limit has been raised to 1MB. Look for this in the next couple weeks. ![]() |

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
spike, can you add in the ability to look for (start of dustbowl, similar for other maps I imagine with STA config)
L 04/15/2008 - 21:26:30: World triggered "Round_Start" L 04/15/2008 - 21:26:30: World triggered "Round_Setup_Begin" L 04/15/2008 - 21:26:30: World triggered "Mini_Round_Selected" (round "round_1") L 04/15/2008 - 21:26:30: World triggered "Mini_Round_Start" Other good examples from dustbowl at least, round transition: L 04/15/2008 - 21:39:12: World triggered "Mini_Round_Win" (winner "Blue") (round "round_2") L 04/15/2008 - 21:39:12: World triggered "Mini_Round_Length" (seconds "524.18") L 04/15/2008 - 21:39:27: World triggered "Round_Setup_Begin" L 04/15/2008 - 21:39:27: World triggered "Mini_Round_Selected" (round "round_3") L 04/15/2008 - 21:39:27: World triggered "Mini_Round_Start" And capping out on dustbowl: L 04/15/2008 - 21:52:44: World triggered "Mini_Round_Win" (winner "Blue") (round "round_3") L 04/15/2008 - 21:52:44: World triggered "Mini_Round_Length" (seconds "796.80") L 04/15/2008 - 21:52:44: World triggered "Round_Win" (winner "Blue") L 04/15/2008 - 21:52:44: Team "Red" current score "0" with "8" players L 04/15/2008 - 21:52:44: Team "Blue" current score "6" with "8" players And failing to capture in time (Dustbowl point 6): L 04/15/2008 - 22:23:33: World triggered "Mini_Round_Win" (winner "Red") (round "round_3") L 04/15/2008 - 22:23:33: World triggered "Mini_Round_Length" (seconds "1178.07") L 04/15/2008 - 22:23:33: World triggered "Round_Win" (winner "Red") L 04/15/2008 - 22:23:33: Team "Red" current score "6" with "8" players L 04/15/2008 - 22:23:33: Team "Blue" current score "5" with "8" players Very good tool so far, thanks for doing this! |

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
Yes. The new parser that is under construction has dropped the 'ready word' business. It simply finds the round start event like you posted. In addition, it parses and makes use of the transition messages. Patience, grasshopper.

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
Maybe I didn't see it before, but you can download the raw log files from the list now, sweeet.
Also, I didn't realize that the lines in the log that show death also give positions of the attacker and the victim... that could be neat to show statistics where in a map (though it'd need to be hard-coded) where people died and killed others. ![]() ![]() |

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
Yes, position statistics would be nice. But I have no idea what those coordinates correspond to. Also, there is no reliable way of finding the map that was played for a given log.

Re: TF2 Logger: Server Match Log Parser
It would be nice to see the total heal points for medics during a round. Overall very good logger.
