edit: Seems to be a slight problem if you're using VLC. As far as I know, MPC and even Windows Media Player plays it fine.

What do you mean what happened to them??

Also yea lat could've selected a better flow of plays so it wasn't so anti climatic, but w/e, he said he was tired of working on it or something. I'm suprised it was actually made I only gave over demos like less than a month ago, Never seen somebody work that fast on something like this. Also he only had like 6 demos to pull plays from in the first place.

That being said I still think its a unique avi that gives a look into what a TFC match was like, so now I have something to show people when they ask me what the hell TFC was (at least the offensive part of it). I'm glad it was made Thanks lat.

It's just too bad I've lost the 1000+ other tfc demos from my past and could only muster up a measily handful of title matches from 2005 :|

None of the clans show up for me. None are listed in the match info section, or in the header for the writeup (it just shows "over", without any clans).

Anyways, I liked it, but I didn't get the full effect because VLC won't run it, and WMP ran it at half speed (but the audio played normally). I will find a fix and then give my full opinion.

Ohhh you're talking about the KSE pages.. thought you meant the text in the actual movie. Also try Media Player Classic I guess. Strange how this file works for some on certain programs but not for others, using the same version of said programs O_o

Like it only glitches minorly in VLC for me, glitches majorly for lat, and doesn't glitch at all for Hampster. You're the first I've heard to have troubles in WMP too... Maybe it only works on certain PC hardware lol, no idea. Avi experts feel free to chime in on these technical difficulties, I'm kinda curious. O_o

they all probably need to upgrade their codecs, audio/video ones to match the codecs used for the movie.

That's usually the problem, but it could be the movie being made in such a high framerate that it's choking on lower end computers.

I used to love watching these matches on hltv. Excellent choice of music ! Fantastic quality here. Nice happy dance @1:31
Quality first, file size second should be the new standard with all the new technology we have these days. It will definitely lag lower end machines though.

Nice and simple. My only peeve was that the zoom felt awkwardly fast at times.


Higher quality videos need better videos to play them, of course, and your computer/media player needs the codec it was encoded with to play it.

I have it a watch. I really liked the music, good choice. My biggest concern with the video is that there is just too much material that is sped up.... It's like, ridiculous. It really started to happen with the run plays, maybe instead of speeding it up, chop the play up into bits to the bit of the song, show the stuff you wanted. *Shrug*

I liked it, and I liked the consistency of the plays in particular. The bloom wasn't overdone, and made the maps look nice. My one complaint is that it seemed a bit short after having watched it at half speed.

who capped the flag quick enough for you to get into their base and re-steel the flag? that was my favorite play. i enjoyed

You were going to have a lot more then that, fei sent me a demo of you vs ae. on sec_r as d demo, was going to use the juicier bits for the credits but I decided credits for this would be kind of silly

Tonight we had the pleasure of playing Nx on mortality_l 9vs9. I’m not really sure why STA decides to pick these maps and make them 9v9; 2mesa3, siege, mortality_l. Maybe it’s because the admins over at STA all play at the cardboard level.

Rd1: We all join our server and to our luck Makaveli was playing for them. I knew then and there our defense wouldn’t have to try so we subbed in Stephen Hawkins and he played with his mouth, shutting their Offense down while ours was capping at free will. Makaveli tried to start to potshot, and I think he was successful once which was a surprise to me, keep on trucking little engine. Round ends 2-0 ae

Rd2: We all join their server and thankfully it was a new Nx server and we all pinged well. I was a bit worried that they were going to bring better players in, but as soon as I saw Makaveli join the server I just knew we had this match in the bag. I decided to give them a chance so I pushed the keys with my elbows and aimed with my tongue. Somehow mid-round while our Defense was afk they managed to pull a flag. Match ends 4-1
