The new season is being filmed in San Francisco. I was lucky enough to attend a recording of the second season last night. He has this new segment thats called GBI. Good Bad Interesting. Fucking hilarious! Anyways, I can pretty much tell this season is gonna blow last season away. Look out for it.

NICE. I can't wait for some new episodes of this. I was hoping they'd air on the same night as new South Park episodes, which would make Wednesday nights truly amazing.

Yeah, I was disappointed in the episode. The only funny thing was when he forgot the guys name and than had another guy whose name he also forgot...and escape instead of introducing them. The funny dog bit was reallllllly weak.

All of his jokes are usually pretty damn good, I just felt the sketches last night were severely lacking(other than the one maizy mentioned when he climbed the tree to get out of not knowing the guy's name, that was great).
Agreed on the dog sketch too, I felt like it was going to have a lot of potential but was just really stupid and unfunny. They need to have more H Jon Benjamin. He can do no wrong.

He's good for like maybe 30 minutes. But for me the deadpan type of comedy seems to lose punch if it's done too long. You can only take a certain number of monotone punchlines.
I give him a B+. To me a guy like Louis C.K. is more entertaining over a longer period. |

^This is how I feel about his show, I enjoyed the first 2-3 episodes of last season and now I've completely stopped watching.
There ration of "laughing my fucking ass off" skits to "pretending to chuckle but this skit was a complete whiff" is way too low for me to remain interested.

when he's actually funny i feel like he makes up for all his misses. this season's first episode wasn't that great... i hope it gets better, but it's not like i'd watch anything else during his time slot though.

Extremely disappointing season so far. I somewhat enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes sketch last night but otherwise it's been pretty weak.
That's a shame too, because his stand-up is always fantastic. I'd love to see him live sometime.
